چکیده

We present piXedfit, pixelized spectral energy distribution (SED) fitting, a Python package that provides tools for analyzing spatially resolved properties of galaxies using multiband imaging data alone or in combination with integral field spectroscopy (IFS) data. piXedfit has six modules can handle all tasks the SED fitting. The fitting module uses Bayesian inference technique two kinds posteriors sampling methods: Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) and random densely-sampling parameter space (RDSPS). test performance mock SEDs simulated from IllustrisTNG. both methods recover physical star formation histories IllustrisTNG well. further by 20 observed CALIFA MaNGA surveys. comprises 12-band GALEX, SDSS, 2MASS, WISE, IFS MaNGA. match (in resolution sampling) By only photometric SEDs, predict continuum, $\text{D}_{\rm n}4000$, $H_{\alpha}$, $H_{\beta}$ rate (SFR) derived is consistent $H_{\alpha}$ emission. RDSPS method gives equally good results as MCMC it much faster than MCMC. versatile tool equipped parallel computing efficient analysis large datasets, will be made publicly available (https://github.com/aabdurrouf/piXedfit).

A BOINC based, citizen-science project for pixel Spectral Energy Distribution fitting of resolved galaxies in multi-wavelength surveys

In this work we present our experience from the first year of theSkyNet Pan-STARRS1 Optical Galaxy Survey (POGS) project. This citizen-scientist driven research project uses the Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing (BOINC) middleware and thousands of Internet-connected computers to measure the resolved galactic structural properties of ∼100,000 low redshift galaxies. We are combin...

Decomposing Dusty Galaxies. I. Multi-component Spectral Energy Distribution Fitting

We present a new multi-component spectral energy distribution (SED) decomposition method and use it to analyze the ultraviolet to millimeter wavelength SEDs of a sample of dusty infrared-luminous galaxies. SEDs are constructed from spectroscopic and photometric data obtained with the Spitzer Space Telescope in conjunction with photometry from the literature. Each SED is decomposed into emission...

2 00 9 Spectral Energy Distribution Fitting : Application to Ly α - Emitting Galaxies ⋆

Spectral Energy Distribution (SED) fitting is a well-developed astrophysical tool that has recently been applied to high-redshift Lyα-emitting galaxies. If rest-frame ultraviolet through near-infrared photometry is available, it allows the simultaneous determination of the star formation history and dust extinction of a galaxy. Lyαemitter SED fitting results from the literature find star format...

Spectral Energy Distribution and Bolometric

Infrared broad-band photometry of the cool brown dwarf Gliese 229B extending in wavelength from 0.8 to 10.5 m is reported. These results are derived from both new data and reanalyzed, previously published data. Existing spectral data reported have been rereduced and recalibrated. The close proximity of the bright Gliese 229A to the dim Gliese 229B required the use of special techniques for the ...

An Automatic Distribution of Sequential Code Fitting Irregular Data Accesses

In this report, we present a data-driven parallelization technique of sequential programs. The main originality of our approach is an absorption mechanism using a speci c wait/signal mechanism based on counters called structural clocks. This mechanism allows to perform unmatching send/receive instructions. Therefore, our parallelization technique can express not foreseeable communications invol...
